Your wedding is YOUR special day, and it is certainly an historical occasion for you and your guests. Your choice of entertainment is a very important one. We have had the honor of entertaining at hundreds of wedding receptions over the years, and that experience shows with each and every one.
You will have a one-on-one consultation with us before your big day to ensure that every detail is handled in a professional, elegant manner. All consultations are included in your package, and we will make sure that all of your ideas you want to bring to life will happen as you imagined.
In addition, if you are in need of music for your ceremony, we can provide that as well. Wireless microphones are also available for your minister, for vocalists, for musicians and readers! Uplighting for your reception can also be added upon request.
DeepBlu Entertainment's videography division is among the finest in the industry. Not only have our clients raved about their video memories, they have referred us to many of their friends and families!

Now, after 10 years of DJing wedding receptions, private and corporate events, clubs and public functions, Jimmy has come into his own as one of the most popular entertainers in Memphis and the Mid-South area. With hundreds of acclaimed events under his belt, Jimmy's skills have been sharpened to the point of excellence. His attention to detail and his focus on every client's individual visions and needs have been the keys to his popularity.
Jon has been involved in the local and national music industry for over 15 years. His credentials span a broad range from writing & recording with such artists as Larry Dodson of the Bar-Kays, Brent Smith of Shinedown, Lil Rounds and Alexis Grace from American Idol, Jimi Jamison of Survivor, Josh Brown of Day of Fire, and local legends Eric Gales, Reba Russel, and the Queen of Beale Street, Ms. Ruby Wilson (just to name a few). Jonathan also manages DeepBlu Entertainment's video production division serving the entire Mid-South area.
Not only is he a vibrant entertainer, he is also an avid music lover. What are your prices?
Prices are based on your specific needs. Typically, events are priced based on a four hour minimum, but let's say for instance, your event is only three hours long. Your package will be customized to fit your needs and will be quoted as such.
I work a full time job. Are you available to meet with me after hours?
If you require a meeting to be scheduled any time during the week after normal working hours, we are flexible enough to accomodate your schedule - even if you are a full-time, 40 hour week employee.
What happens if you aren't available to perform at my event?
Fortunately, we haven't missed a single event in the last 7 years. However, in the event that your DJ is unavailable to fulfill his obligation at your event, we have a network of experienced DJs at our disposal. In the event that we are unable to perform at your special occasion, you will be notified a minimum of 24 hours in advance, and the entertainer that will be performing on your DJ's behalf will contact you personally to confirm all of the details that you have specified for your event. These terms are also included in your contract.
Are you fully trained?
Yes. we have experience with club, corporate and private event situations. We are some of the most experienced and seasoned DJs in the Memphis and Mid-South area. So much so, that some of the biggest entertainment companies in the area still employ us to perform at some of their largest events!
Will you arrive in time to set up?
Yes. Not only is setting up at the last minute inappropriate, but it's really risky. We prefer to arrive early to have all of the equipment set up, leaving ample time to test everything to make sure that all equipment operates properly for your big day. This extra time also allows for us to converse with facility personnel, florists, caterers, photographers and any other people involved with your event. It just makes for a better party!
Do you have references?
Yes. Our entertainers are widely recommended on many of the most popular wedding planning websites such as Wedding Wire, The Knot & Wedding Bee. If you require a personal recommendation from any of his past clients, just ask. You will be given the names, phone numbers, and/or email addresses so you can personally contact each reference to interview them for yourself.
Will you help me get started? I've never done this before.
Absolutely! With hundreds of weddings under the belt, we will be happy to give you ideas and pointers if you need them. Just ask!
