Kim and Cris Hawkins - Spring Creek Ranch October 24, 2015
When you are a wedding DJ, sometimes you meet some of the most interesting people with the most interesting stories. I met quite a few of them at this particular wedding. For one, Cris' uncle Howard - great guy with a nice voice (and an equally as nice Taylor guitar). He played and sang "The Wedding Song" during Kim & Cris' wedding ceremony and sounded phenomenal. Not to mention Kim and Cris themselves. With every email and meeting, they were always so nice and attentive and open to all ideas - and really just wanted to have FUN! Fun is what we had and we had a lot of it!
The weather was nice and brisk, and we were blessed enough to have the rain hold off so we could enjoy a great ceremony out on the Spirng Creek lawn. After that, we moved to the reception area in the back of the building and did our thing.Their guests danced all night long, and Kim definitely held her place on the dance floor.
Both bride and groom were about as happy as they could be, and I'm sure that their photographer, Jon Sharman, had no issues whatsoever capturing many great pics of happy people!
Kim and Cris' cake was provided by the Flour Garden and was delicious and picturesque. Toni Williams and Tia Freeman of Spring Creek Ranch helped me run the show and a;ways made sure to keep everything on point! Lynn Doyle Flowers brought the beautiful flowers as they always do and made the entire reception area smell and look amazing!
Kim and Cris, it was an honor to be a part of your wedding day, and I thank you so much for trusting us enough to make sure that the party was gonna be sensational! Many happy times are ahead of you! God bless :)
