Jessica & Carl Herron | Memphis Zoo's Teton Trek | December 19, 2015

Jimmy with Jessica & Carl Herron

Jessica and Carl allowed me to end this year on a very high note! This past weekend at Teton Trek at the Memphis Zoo, we celebrated the union of this awesome couple, and they had a group of guests that were on fire with joy and a readiness to get down!

Their ceremony was held inside Teton by the fireplace, which was a great backdrop for some photos, snapped by our friend Lizz Hoard of Lizz Hoard Photography, accompanied by her second and third shooters, Crystal Gray & Elizabeth Woody. Sami Sue Studios took care of the video side of things, and we all worked great together!

Jessica's amazing bridal gown was provided by Ballew Bridal, their cuisine was provided by Draper's Catering, Salon 387 made sure that her and her bridesmaids' hair and makeup was beautiful, flowers by Dorothy K's Flowers & More, and Frost Bake Shop provided their show-stopping cake.

During their ceremony, her processional song was “A Thousand Years” and was masterfully executed by her uncle Matt on guitar, and her cousin, Anna, sang it beautifully. Once their ceremony was over, all of their guests headed upstairs to the second level to get the dancing started. It was evident that these folks were ready to party, and Jessica and Carl stayed on the dance floor pretty much the entire time. Jessica employed a few family members to help with the day-of coordinating, which turned out to be a real blessing for all of us. It was just a great celebration all around, and again, a GREAT way to end a year of some of the best weddings in my career – including this one!

Thanks, Jessica and Carl, for letting me be a part of your wedding day. I won;t soon forget it, and I hope it sticks with you too!
