As much Memphis pride as the DeepBlu family has, sometimes we have couples that like to get a little further out of the city, and we love that too! Miranda and Zack decided to stay a little closer to home and held their wedding and reception at 1 Memphis Street in Hernando, MS. Let me tell you, there is nothing better than Mississippi hospitality!

The wedding was in the evening in December, with cool crisp air outside, but warm and cozy inside. Blake was their DJ and had a blast with this couple and their friends and family. Their 20 minute ceremony transitioned seamlessly into their reception for an evening of dinner and dancing.

Once Mr. and Mrs. Gordon were announced, the guests blessed their food then ate dinner with the bride and groom. After dinner, the formal dances began. Miranda and Zack danced for the first time as husband and wife, Miranda danced with her dad, and Zack danced with his mom. The moments are incredible special for us to be a part of and we love seeing the emotion in the room at times like these.

After the dances, the bride and groom cut the cake, then the party really got started by opening up the dance floor. One of the great things about our entire DeepBlu team is that we are trained to be able to read a crowd and know exactly what to play to keep the party going. Miranda and Zack’s wedding was no exception and their guests made Blake’s job easy!

Later on in the reception, Miranda and Zack did the traditional bouquet and garter toss, before exiting as Mr. and Mrs. Zack Gordon. Miranda and Zack, thank you for allowing us to play a part in your special day and celebrate with you. You guys rock!
